Sprint Application Developer Program Becomes Gold Sponsor!

Posted by Peter Kellner on October 2, 2009 @ 5:48 PM

Just one day before Code Camp, Sprint has signed up to be a Gold sponsor.  Sprint is one of the leading producers of high technology phones and we are glad to have them.  They are currently ramping up for their 2009 Sprint Open Developer Conference October 26-28 here in silicon valley.  They plan on raffling off three free passes to this event at our Sunday raffle.  If you don’t win, and still want to go, they will have some representatives at camp answer questions.  Below is their formal announcement.

Join Sprint and key industry leaders at the 2009 Sprint Open Developer Conference Oct. 26 – 28 in Santa Clara, CA. Learn directly from Sprint, HTC, Palm, RIM/Blackberry, Microsoft, Clearwire and many others on the latest development platforms, products, 4G capabilities, M2M / Embedded solutions. Earn free devices from HTC, RIM, Sprint and Clearwire at the conference to aid in your development. Register 2 at $350 and get a 3rd registration for FREE! Space is limited – don’t miss out.

Code Camp Final Packet Mailed to All Registered!

Posted by Tammy Baker on @ 10:22 AM

With just one day until Code Camp, things are really coming together; at last count, we have 146 presentations and 1629 registered attendees! Registration starts at 8:00 AM Saturday morning. Parking Lot #4 is paid for by our sponsors so you do not need to pay $2.  All other parking at Foothill requires a fee. Follow the signs to the registration desk to pick-up your name badge and Saturday Lunch ticket.

A map of both the campus and the classrooms is located here http://www.foothill.edu/news/mainmaps.html Also, please remember that the beltway around Foothill College is one-way so if you pass us, keep going around the circle and come back.

We will have printed copies of the schedule, but you can help us out by printing the following PDF files, which contain the session schedules for both Saturday & Sunday to bring with you.

For those of you tweeting at camp, please use the #svcc hash tag on your tweets. If you do post something through any other channel about camp online, please also tag your content with the "svcc" tag. For all camp attendees, we have created a Silicon Valley Code Camp 2009 event on SlideShare that you can join here:

If you are speaking this weekend, please post your slides on SlideShare and associate your slides with our event. It would also be a good idea to take advantage of the wiki page associated with each session to include a link to your slides there too.
